Overpriced & Terrible Terrible Service- They Ruined my Wedding!
So I had everything in order, cake management, the decorators, entertainment etc.. everything! I am very organised and really hoped for everything to go to plan. I spent a lot on my wedding and I really wanted it to be special. Now the Atrium provided the catering, we were drawn to them due to them being able to provide a bespoke menu and considering their hefty charge we assumed they would provide a service to match. We had several meetings and WhatsApp conversations with them in advance to state our requirements in terms of timing and layout. On the day they had arrived 3 hours late, they were supposed to set up the hall but did not complete on time, all the other service providers were frustrated as the couldn’t do their job, to make it worse the function had started and people had arrived to a venue which was not set up at all – it was so embarrassing. They then served the food another 2 hours later, both our families were so humiliated and upset to the point the women and men were offering to help them set up but they refused anyone’s help. The only thing they had put out was their advertisement material and they stopped responding to our family members. Basically the food had not arrived to the venue yet so they were killing time doing nothing. Can you imagine how the families felt having all their guest arrive to a venue with no tables and chairs and then having waiters walking around doing nothing?! not even putting cutlery on the tables. As if things could not get worse, the food was served so late that it couldn’t be completed. We proceeded with the Cake Cutting and Bidaai as there was 15 minutes left before the hall closes and guess what the dessert was still being served. Many guest had left without dessert and others had left without any food, it was so delayed and the most horrible service. Oh and they had not set up any head tables, when the bride and grooms family were walking off stage to get ready to eat, there was no tables set up for them. on demand they had to rush and set up a random table for us to sit on. As it was not set up in advance there was no flowers or decorations to adorn or signify that this was the head table belonging to the bride and groom and their families. Honestly their service is chaotic, disorganised, delayed, messy and unpleasant.
